Introduction

Tabs Page

The Tabs page will display chord tab diagrams for the current chord that where generated by the Tab algorithm. As you change the Chord, Root Note, Instrument or Tuning the application will automatically generate a new set of tabs based on the default configuration.

The Tabs page is for displaying tabs only. Use the Adjustment page to make adjustments in the Tab algorithm.

Root Note and Chord

You can change the Root Note and Chord from here or the Chords page.

Paging

There is a Paging display at the bottom of the screen. The tab algorithm can potentially generate 1000's of tabs diagrams but there is a limit of 500 tabs at one time. If you are getting 500 tabs you probably need to adjust the Auto or Manual settings on the Adjustment page to fine tune results.

Page Forward - swipe LEFT or swipe UP.

Page Backward - swipe RIGHT or swipe DOWN.

Zoom

Click on the Zoom icon to cycle through a predefined list of tabs per row and column.

Font Sizes

Click on the Font sizing icon to cycle through a predefined list of font sizes to adjust to your Zoom level.

[NOTE] Zoom and Font size are saved to the settings file. However for performance reasons they are only saved when you are selecting either a new Root Note, Chord, Instrument or Tuning. You can also save from the Settings page described later.

Note Annotation

Click on the annotation icon to toggle between Flat [b] notes, Formula [1 3 5] notes and Sharp [#] notes as needed. This is the same as selecting the annotation and signature buttons on the chord page.

Favorites

Save a tab as a favorite by clicking on 1 or more of the tabs and then click on the heart icon with the plus sign.

View your selected tab favorites by clicking on the heart icon on the left. If it is a solid color then your are viewing the tab favorites.

You can remove tab favorites by, once again, clicking on a tab then select the heart icon with a minus sign on the right.

[NOTE] Tab favorites are saved per Chord/Instrument/Tuning combinations. The same favorite is not translated to different instruments.
